Carbon Management with Cambio Environmental

This one day course is new for 2011 and aims to provide delegates with a solid grounding in the techniques of carbon accounting (including footprinting) and carbon reduction programmes.  

Course description 

This one day course is aimed at providing an overview of this important and fast developing area.  Key areas considered are :

• the carbon cycle
  
• carbon accounting principles
• carbon management strategies
• the carbon neutral concept
  
• emissions trading and the CRC scheme

As with all Cambio courses there is a mixture of tutor presentation, case study exercises and group discussions to ensure that the learning objectives of the day are clearly met.

While this course has been prepared to meet the needs of personnel involved in carbon management programmes related to Emissions Trading or the Carbon Reduction Commitment schemes, the content will be of use to anyone involved in environmental performance improvement programmes in organisations.  So whether you are looking for information and ideas in relation to compliance schemes or simply trying to demonstrate continual improvement in relation to your ISO14001 system, this course could be for you.  Attendance on this and similar courses may also be used to support your CPD requirements as a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and similar organisations.
