Sustainable Procurement with Cambio Environmental
This one day environmental training course is new for 2011 and aims to provide delegates with a solid grounding in the issues and approaches used to develop a sustainable procurement programme within an organisation.
Course Description
The course provides an overview of the sustainable procurement process from the two viewpoints of 'product' and 'supplier' selection. In each case the following elements are considered :
- creating an inventory of 'products' and 'suppliers'
- prioritisation of 'products' and 'suppliers' from a sustainability perspective
- assessment and selection criteria for priority 'products' and 'suppliers'
As with all Cambio courses, there is a mixture of tutor presentation, case study exercises and group discussions to ensure that the learning objectives for the day are clearly met.
